It is common sense that the traffic situation is one of the biggest challenges for Malta. For this reason, the German-Maltese Business Council of the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry together with the German Embassy Valletta supported by the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (ifa) organised the second seminar in the series "Towards Sustainable Mobility in Malta" on 29 September 2016. The keynote speaker was Prof. Dr. Michael von Hauff (University of Kaiserslautern). In his lecture "Approaches to a Sustainable Mobility and their Assessment - Examples from Germany", he spoke about the experiences and discussions in this field in the Federal Republic of Germany. Following the lecture, different stakeholders discussed business opportunities in alternative means of transport.
