Ambassador Dr. Ziegler inaugurates German-Maltese Art Exhibition

On 23.09.2011 Dr. Hubert Ziegler, German Ambassador to Malta, inaugurated the German- Maltese art exhibition “Wertenbruch featuring Camilleri redux” in the Opus 64 Galerie in Sliema. Ludwig Wertenbruch is an artist from Krefeld in Germany who has exhibited widely in Germany and at select places all over the world.
Austin Camilleri is a local artist with a high international reputation, whose artworks were also exhibited at the Münchner Künstlerhaus in 2009. His “red series” (2006-2008) offers a striking counterpart to Wertenbruch’s “Bewegte Linien auf dunklen Gründen” which was the highlight of the exhibition.
