Germany sends humanitarian aid goods to Libya

Germany has donated 100.000,- Euros of humanitarian aid for the people in Tripoli / Libya.

The vessel “MV AL-ENTISAR” left on Friday,the 9th of September for Tripoli with approximately 300 pallets of drinking water, baby food and medical supplies.

It is pointed out that all goods were – within a couple of days – purchased in Malta. The German Ambassador is most thankful to the local suppliers of the goods for their fast reaction and delivery.

This speedy relief action would not have been possible without the outstanding support by the Civil Protection Department of Malta and the Office of the Prime Minister of Malta.
