German Ambassador meets Maltese Minister of Health, Mr. Joe Cassar

On 27.09.2011 Dr. Hubert Ziegler, German Ambassador to Malta, held a meeting with Mr. Joe Cassar, Minister for Health, the Elderly and Community Care to discuss public health issues of mutual interest. In particular, both sides discussed possibilities of German-Maltese coorperation in the fields of innovative cancer treatment and neurodegenerative diseases. Moreover, Ambassador Dr. Ziegler and the Minister of Health, Joe Cassar, exchanged views on the various challenges for public health systems in increasingly ageing societies.
